We are a ministry and are interested in individuals that have a heart for ministering to children and families. Job Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalency Must be able to pass a background check Essential Job Function Serves children breakfast, lunch, and prepares snack before leaving. Willingness and ability to cover a classroom and watch children for short periods as needed. Participates in workshops or meetings to obtain training hours Accepts and signs for food when delivered Stores, keeps and serves food at safe temperatures Prepares food according to appropriate portion sizes Cleans, sanitizes, dries and puts away all kitchen dishes Sanitizing food carts Following all CACFP regulations Be knowledgeable of all student allergies Record food temperatures, food substitutions, and refrigerator temperatures Keep the area tidy and sanitized.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age Proof of High School Graduation previous experience working with food preferred CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training required upon employment Work Environment/Physical Demands Employee will be required to occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Will frequently move/lift 10 lbs Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs or more On your feet for the entirety of your shift (besides breaks) STEAM Academy is a ministry of River City Church.
