Part-time Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen. Duties:
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, dicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Serve guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all food and beverage items meet the highest quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support the catering team with event preparation and execution.
  • Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu items and ingredients, providing feedback to management on seasonal offerings and menu items.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge in the culinary field.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation, or willingness to obtain.
  • Familiarity with catering and food service operations.
  • Culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Hospitality skills and knowledge of hotel operations.
