In this energetic role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with various kitchen operations. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes efficiently Support cooking processes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices Serve guests by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and supporting front-of-house staff as needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with service logistics Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, or culinary training is a plus Familiarity with hospitality operations such as guest services, serving, bussing, and hotel or banquet experience is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, safety protocols, and delivering excellent customer service Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences.
