The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipmentKnows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and proceduresStocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service periodPortions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specificationsMonitors and maintains proper temperature on all productsMaintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté' burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipmentPrepares items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinatingFollows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishesHandles stores and rotates all products properlyAssists in food prep assignments during off peak periods as neededStocking food in coolers and freezers
