Nutritional Assistant (DT) Willis-Knighton Health System - 3.7 Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time 11 days ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Removing debris Food service cleaning Food running Mops Food service carts Food safety sanitizing procedures Food delivery Entry level Full Job Description Primary Functions Responsible for ensuring all dishes and kitchen utensils are properly sanitized and records sanitizer levels daily, or as necessary. Loads and unloads the dishwasher. Report any equipment problems to the Food Service Manager. Delivers and picks up food carts to the designated areas. Empties trash cans after each meal, or as needed. Keeps the dumpster area clean and ensures all lids are closed. Keeps the kitchen floor clear of all debris, sweeps and mops after each meal. Ensuring a "wet floor" sign is in place during mopping. Clean and sanitize carts as instructed by the Foodservice Manager. Cleans all walls in the chemical closet, dry storage, etc. Cleans the ice machine inside and out as instructed by Foodservice Manager. Organize pots and pans on racks as instructed by Foodservice Manager. Deliver food and beverage items to residents or staff members. Works as a team player with the dietary department, adjusting duties to cover other assignments as necessary.
