Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and menu specifications Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including prep stations and storage areas Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special orders as needed Support the kitchen team in cooking, portioning, and plating food items efficiently Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Hands-on experience with food handling, knife skills, meal prep, and kitchen operations in restaurant or catering settings Strong understanding of the food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and quality control Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
