Duties Assist chefs and culinary staff with food preparation, including slicing, dicing, and assembling sushi ingredients Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas Prepare ingredients according to menu specifications and safety guidelines Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and food handling procedures Help with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and properly maintained Support catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients or assisting with meal assembly Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly valued Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling protocols Culinary experience with knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is advantageous Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and catering operations is a plus Strong understanding of kitchen safety procedures and sanitation regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering quality food with enthusiasm!
