In this role, you will be an essential part of the kitchen operations, supporting food preparation, safety, and service excellence. Whether you're assisting with cooking, food handling, or maintaining a clean and organized workspace, your contributions will directly impact guest satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment dedicated to quality and guest service. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure timely service Support cooking activities by maintaining station cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations Serve guests efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing Clear tables and bussing duties to maintain a clean dining environment and support smooth service flow Collaborate with team members to ensure all food service operations meet quality standards Contribute to banquet and special event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience in hotels or culinary settings is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to customer service and hospitality standards Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us and bring your enthusiasm for hospitality into a role where every day offers new opportunities to learn, grow, and serve!
