Floofs, Floors & Freshness Assistant

We are a professional USDA-licensed breeder of rare pedigree cats looking to add a dependable new helper to our team to assist with daily cattery care, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining high animal care standards. This role is heavily focused on cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and supporting the health and wellbeing of a large group of cats and kittens. If you take pride in deep cleaning, attention to detail, and maintaining high standards, this may be a perfect fit.

Daily responsibilities may include:

Scooping and maintaining multiple litter boxes throughout the day Deep cleaning and sanitizing litter areas, kennels, floors, walls, bedding, dishes, and cat equipment Helping maintain USDA-level cleanliness and sanitation standards Laundry, disinfecting surfaces, and organizing supplies Monitoring cats and kittens for cleanliness, appetite, behavior, and general wellbeing Assisting with basic grooming such as nail trims, ear cleaning, bathing, and skin care when needed Helping maintain a healthy, low-stress environment for kittens and adult cats The ideal candidate is: Extremely reliable and detail-oriented Comfortable cleaning extensively every shift Able to work independently and as part of a team Kind, patient, and affectionate with animals Comfortable working around many cats daily Able to lift litter, food, and supply boxes regularly Available for some weekends and weekdays Interested in learning more about feline health, husbandry, and professional animal care This opportunity may be especially well suited for: Vet techs or vet tech assistants Groomers Animal care workers Experienced house cleaners who genuinely love animals and sanitation work Hours are approximately 8-24 hours weekly depending on availability and needs. We are happy to train the right person.

Please note:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and weekly invoicing, and no benefits are provided.
