The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our front of the house environment and making sure guest are taken care of and that we have what we need for all prep needs for each shift. This position is essential for supporting meal preparation and service in a fast-paced food service setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and cooking surfaces. Assist with meal preparation as needed by preparing ingredients or assembling dishes. Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is advantageous. Knowledge of culinary techniques and restaurant operations can enhance performance in this role. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
