Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Experience in food service or quick-service restaurant settings is beneficial. Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
