More than 30 Starting Salary Range $17 DESCRIPTION The School Kitchen Aide works under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager to support the preparation, serving, and clean-up of daily school meals. This individual plays an important role in ensuring that breakfast and lunch are served in a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment that meets all safety and health guidelines.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with cleaning up breakfast service and preparation area. Support the Kitchen Manager with lunch preparation and setup. Serve lunch to students and staff in an efficient and friendly manner. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times. Clean and sanitize all lunchroom and kitchen equipment and surfaces after use. Assist in the organization and inventory of kitchen supplies. Work cooperatively with other school staff and volunteers. Be present and ready to work on time for all scheduled hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Willingness to follow direction and work as part of a team. Experience working in a kitchen, cafeteria, or food service preferred. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe food service environment. Respectful, responsible, and able to work around children. Completion of background check and required Archdiocesan training.
