ROLE SUMMARY
The Product Development Kitchen Assistant supports and assists the Innovation & Design team by performing basic administrative, organizational, and sanitation duties as needed in the test kitchen.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist with retrieval, unpacking, and storage of supplier samples. Assist with maintaining accurate and organized inventory of ingredients. Perform basic sanitation and cleaning tasks in the test kitchen. Assist with building wrapping, packing, and shipment of customer samples. Assist with retrieval of ingredients from warehouse as needed. Support setup and execution of sales presentations and internal events. Regular and predictable attendance. Maintain behaviors that support our
CORE VALUES.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some experience preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Good command of the English language both verbal and written. Must be able to read and interpret documents in English such as spec sheets, packing slips, and ingredients labels. Must be comfortable learning new technologies such as Sortly inventory program. Must be comfortable working in test kitchen, office, and manufacturing environments. Basic familiarity with food products and kitchen equipment. Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety. Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and learn new skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally exposed to extreme cold (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
