Zait & Za'atar (Mediterranean Dhaba) and Saint Wich Burgers are looking for a dependable Kitchen Prep Associate to support our kitchen during off-hours. This role focuses on preparing ingredients ahead of service so our team can operate smoothly. What You'll Do Prepare sauces and dips (hummus, baba ghanoush, tahini, etc.) Mix and prep items (falafel mix, dahi vada, salads, etc.) Marinate meats (chicken, beef, etc.) Form burger patties Prepare and bottle beverages (lassis and other drinks) Portion, label, and store items properly Keep your prep area clean and organized Schedule ~10-12 hours per week Typically 3 shifts × ~4 hours Flexible timing during non-service hours (evening/night preferred) Independent work environment (no rush, no line work) What We're Looking For Reliable and consistent — shows up and completes tasks Detail-oriented and clean Comfortable working independently Able to follow simple instructions and repeat processes Kitchen or food prep experience is helpful but not required Pay $16 - $19.50/hour (based on experience) Why This Role Works Well No cooking or service pressure Predictable, structured work Flexible schedule Great for someone who prefers focused, independent tasks To Apply Send a short note with your availability and any relevant experience. zaitzaatar.com/careers Offer of employment is contingent upon completion of a background check in accordance with Minnesota law.
