In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dish area, ensuring all kitchenware and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help support our culinary operations and uphold the highest standards of food service and hospitality. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools Sort, stack, and store clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service Follow proper food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of operations during busy periods Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is preferred Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude Experience with bussing tables or serving is a plus but not required Basic culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial Join us as a Dish Room Operator and be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
