Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet or restaurant events as needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly. Support cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques.
