Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced morning prep member to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. This is a fast pace food prep position. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, training staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality in food production. Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Assist in menu planning and inventory management to optimize food costs. Collaborate with management to implement operational strategies that improve service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Support the culinary team during peak hours to ensure timely meal preparation. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and catering services. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and training. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for food service and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
