Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and plating ingredients efficiently and safely. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all health regulations and protocols. Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors. Handle food handling tasks such as portioning, wrapping, and storing ingredients properly. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to ensure cleanliness in dining areas. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed. Contribute to banquet setups and service, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals for events. Support guest services by responding promptly to customer requests with a friendly attitude. Help with kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and cleaning workstations regularly. Skills Strong background in food service, food handling, and restaurant experience. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking fundamentals. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Familiarity with banquet service, bussing, and general kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures. Previous hotel or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in hospitality settings. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward guest interactions.
