Cook:

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. In the role of a Cook you will have the opportunity to: Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Prepare menu, orders, and purchases to serve the staff and volunteers at the Rebuild site Work with the Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator to accurately keep receipt reports and timesheets Maintain the kitchen and kitchen equipment Prepare breakfast and dinner each day for Rebuild volunteers and staff Oversee cleanliness of kitchen and dining hall Greet all staff and visitors and utilize volunteers to assist in the kitchen All other duties as assigned Learn more about serving with Samaritan's Purse .

Qualifications & Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) to three (3) years experience in food preparation; or equivalent combination of education and experience ServeSafe handler certification is required Effective time management skills Thorough knowledge of inventory management
