Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Cafe Team member and be a vital part of creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests! In this energetic role, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing delicious meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall dining experience. As well as helping with upscale coffees Whether you're passionate about culinary arts or eager to develop your food industry skills, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow and make a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure high-quality meals are served efficiently Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients with care to maintain hygiene standards Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with special dietary requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment Contribute to meal assembly and presentation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards Support catering events or large orders by preparing bulk items and coordinating timely service Serve food to guests in a friendly, professional manner while adhering to proper serving procedures Prepare and serve a variety of upscale coffee beverages with consistency and care Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly valued Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly processes Prior restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food service operations Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Passion for the food industry with a focus on quality service and guest satisfaction
