Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety standards to ensure high-quality meal production. Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and food safety protocols at all times. Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Contribute to meal assembly and presentation, ensuring dishes meet the restaurant's standards for quality and appearance. Support catering events by preparing food items and assisting with setup and service as needed. Practice excellent food handling techniques during meal preparation, serving, and storage to ensure safety for all guests. Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly valued for understanding specialized food needs. Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments demonstrates ability to handle fast-paced settings with precision. Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential. Familiarity with menu planning, catering services, and general kitchen operations enhances your effectiveness in this role. Proven ability in food industry roles that require attention to detail, teamwork, and efficient meal preparation. Prior experience serving or working in a restaurant or catering environment will support your success as a Back of House Team Member.
