Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols. Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quick service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting. Support inventory management through food preparation, stock replenishment, and proper food storage practices. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick-service or fast-food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and accurate order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in cashiering, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations in a restaurant or café setting.
