!! Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order taking and cash handling. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, managing food storage, and ensuring proper food safety practices. Support quick service operations by managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and balance registers at the end of shifts. Experience Prior experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail math will help you excel in this role. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills are essential for success. Previous restaurant experience or work in the food industry demonstrates your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A background in serving or grocery store operations can provide valuable skills applicable to this position.
