NoBull Smokehouse Job Summary:
We are seeking a new member for our kitchen staff at NoBull Smokehouse. As a kitchen staff member, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meats, sides, and other dishes according to our recipes and guidelines. Prior kitchen experience not necessary to apply. Nobull is a Smokehouse and Bar open Monday-Saturday (closed every Sunday), serving award-winning barbeque, homemade sides, and cocktails. We prepare and smoke all of our meats in-house and our sides and sauces from scratch (we don't have a microwave in the kitchen) and provide ample opportunity for hands-on learning and advancement. Closed, clean kitchen environment with outside windows and natural light.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook various meats, including brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork Prepare and cook sides, such as mac and cheese and baked beans Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality of food Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and kitchen equipment Work closely with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food to customers Comply with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a sometimes hot and humid environment (no worse than a typical kitchen) If this sounds like a position that you would be interested in, we encourage you to apply.
