Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! You'll play a key role in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operation of our bustling kitchen environment. Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, garnishing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely service Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to support smooth restaurant operations Contribute to banquet setups and support catering events with food prep and service assistance Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment operation is a plus Familiarity with customer service principles and guest interaction enhances team performance Hospitality background or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations This role is an excellent stepping stone into the culinary and hospitality fields.
