Job Description

Position:
Kitchen Aide -
Substitute Program and Location:
Peterson Senior Activity Center Meal Program -
Kearney Responsibilities:
Responsible for general cleaning, housekeeping, and dishwashing in the kitchen and dining area. Ensure the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and daily kitchen and dining area clean up . Assist in daily meal preparation as needed.
Tasks and Duties:
Assist on serving line, as needed. Assist in daily meal preparation. Clean kitchen area, dining area, and store room area . Clean all utensils, cooking vessels, and serving equipment . Inventory tracking/reporting as needed.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Consideration will be given to individuals without a diploma or GED.
Required Skills:
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the general public and agency employees. Ability to stand for extended periods of time (cooking, meal serving, cleaning) Ability to lift more than 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Schedule/Hours:
Hours are on an as needed basis by the Kitchen staff , Monday-Friday. Typical hours are scheduled between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Pay Rate:
