Job Description

The Dietary Assistant has the opportunity to positively impact the lives of residents, guests, family members, and team members on a daily basis. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality food service and hospitality, contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment for all. Qualified candidates will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and consistently portray a positive image. This role is part of a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence, where learning and growth are encouraged and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently use the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values to guide daily decisions and actions Demonstrate a positive, respectful, and constructive attitude with residents and staff Provide quality culinary services that meet the needs of residents and guests Support a dining environment that promotes dignity, comfort, and respect Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellent customer service Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Participate in in-service education and training opportunities Follow all regulatory and company standards Work collaboratively with other departments to support resident care Serve as a reliable and positive team member
Schedule:
3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Every other weekend off
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds consistently Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching above head and below waist Ability to push, pull, and move food, equipment, and supplies Ability to tolerate heat, steam, and food-related environments Ability to safely use kitchen equipment and utensils Ability to read labels, recipes, thermometers, and measuring tools Ability to move between areas while carrying items
