Kitchen Expeditor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared, organized, and delivered efficiently to our guests. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are accurate and complete. Assist in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support bussing and serving duties as needed during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including proper handling of utensils and equipment. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences through attentive service. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Experience in banquet settings or hotel environments is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
