Overview Join our vibrant pizzeria team this summer as a Counter Help Associate! If you thrive in a lively environment and love providing exceptional customer service, this is your chance to shine. As a key member of our busy restaurant, you'll help create memorable dining experiences by assisting customers, handling food and beverage orders, and supporting daily operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable food industry experience while working in a fast-paced, fun setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with precision Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Support food prep tasks including basic cooking, assembling pizzas, and managing quick service needs Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Prior experience with food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatoryThis position is ideal for energetic individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.
