Head Chef / Executive Chef / Store Manage r Job Summary The Kitchen Associate at Livoti's Old World Market plays a vital role in preparing high-quality, fresh, Old World-style foods while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service. This position supports daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation to ensure an exceptional experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Production Assist with daily preparation of hot and cold foods, salads, entrees, sides, and specialty items Follow Livoti's recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines Prep ingredients including chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling Assist with catering and special order preparation as needed Ensure food is properly labeled, dated, and stored Kitchen Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Monitor food temperatures and report any concerns immediately Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures Support inventory rotation (FIFO) and minimize food waste Customer Service Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner when applicable Answer basic questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens Represent Livoti's commitment to quality, tradition, and hospitality Team Support Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, chefs, and management Assist other departments during peak times if needed Follow direction from kitchen leadership and adapt to daily operational needs Qualifications Previous kitchen, deli, or food service experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Schedule Requirements Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Full-time and part-time positions available Skills & Competencies Time management and multitasking Strong work ethic Willingness to learn and grow within the company Pride in food quality and presentation Why Work at Livoti's Old World Market? Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
