Restaurant Crew Member

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Crew Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and manage cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and food safety practices. Manage time efficiently to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming environment and efficient restaurant operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
