Role:
The Kitchen Technician II will be responsible for leading the kitchen team in various processes associated with cannabis infused edible product development. The Kitchen Technician II works with Kitchen team to provide the daily care and focused attention necessary to safely produce and package quality cannabis infused edibles. How you'll make a difference: Responsible for leading Kitchen Team in various processes, including producing, labeling, and packaging cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine. Accurately records data on using Company system and protocols, which may include but is not limited to accurate counts, inventory, weights and measurements of cannabis infused edibles throughout the processing and packaging procedures. Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and quality of product produced; verify quality control standards are being met throughout the process. Maintains a clean, compliant, and safe work environment; responsible for reporting any necessary compliance or safety concerns promptly. Compliantly clean and sanitize kitchen area as assigned by management, which may include sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, sanitizing workstations, cleaning tools and equipment; checking for any possible health code violations and mitigating the risk of cross contamination. Provides input and support as necessary for new production creation and recipes. Meets daily goals, kitchen objectives, and KPIs set by management. Assists with other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
SUPERVISOR RELATIONSHIP
The Kitchen Technician II will report to the Kitchen Manager and will understand that in the absence of the manager, they will oversee the floor. The Kitchen Tech II will work alongside the manager to maintain the integrity of all policy, processes and procedures implemented by the manager. The Kitchen Tech II may direct questions or concerns to the manager under the assumption that conversations remain open and inclusive. The authority to make changes and decisions is vested in the acting manager at the time, though any changes or alterations in planning or procedure must be relayed to the manager. In the absence of the manager, it is expected that the Tech 2 can and will fulfill the role of Acting Lead on the floor in their respective spaces, while being respectful of staff seniority and working alongside any other Tech-2s to effectively manage time and resources. Attend weekly meetings with the manager, and any other Tech-2's - prepare and present situational updates on production, facilities, supplies, etc. Review the production schedule and forecasts for key dates, quantities, strains, etc. Advise on the effects of management decisions relating to production, ingredients, workflow and morale.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is required. Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen, food services, or related experience required. Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred. Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred. Food Handlers/ServSafe certificate preferred. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail. Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Additional Qualifications Must be of the minimum age required by state regulations. Ability to pass state mandated background check(s) Ability to complete and pass Food Handlers/ServSafe certification Computers and Technology Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company's seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable).

Schedule :
Available to work Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm ET, with flexibility for mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs •Subject to change as business needs.

Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft may be required. Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects. Ability to work in a humid and pollinated environment. On-site daily attendance is required.
