Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment Support with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients Organize and store ingredients and supplies efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and recycling to uphold cleanliness standards Assist in catering events or large-scale meal services as needed to support team efforts Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is a plus Experience in the food industry or culinary field demonstrates a strong foundation for this role Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior kitchen experience involving meal preparation or catering is highly valued This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant team.
