Food Prep & Production Prepare daily food items in collaboration with the kitchen team Prep food correctly by following INDAY recipes, procedures, and standards Follow portioning and build standards to ensure consistent quality Wash dishes, tools, and equipment used during food prep Help minimize waste and support inventory counts as needed Kitchen Organization Receive store, and organize deliveries using FIFO and proper storage practices Maintain correct storage temperatures and food rotation per DOH regulations Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations throughout the shift Keep floors clean, dry, and free of debris at all times Support a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment Customer Service & Hospitality Provide friendly, timely service to every guest Know the INDAY menu and help guests with questions or recommendations Greet guests, take orders, and support service flow as needed Ring orders accurately in the POS system and collect payments Follow proper cash handling procedures and assist with making change when needed FOH and Station Support Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation at the start and end of each shift Stock cashier and service stations with necessary supplies Change trash, wipe tables and counters, and pack sauce sides as needed Support daily setup tasks, including displays and music Bottle INDAY beverages and prepare hot drinks Complete side work and cleaning tasks according to INDAY standards Teamwork and Communication Support teammates across stations to keep service running smoothly Communicate questions, issues, or ideas to the Manager on Duty Participate in training and help support new team members Work collaboratively to create a positive and respectful team environment Compliance & Professionalism Follow all sanitation, food safety, and company policies Clock in and out correctly and follow scheduling guidelines Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards Attend required meetings and training sessions Maintain a positive, good karma attitude at all times Complete additional tasks as assigned by leaders WHO YOU ARE
1+ year experience in a fast casual, quick service, or similar high volume concept Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods (standing, walking, bending) Comfortable working 6-8 hour shifts Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a team Friendly, positive, and respectful attitude toward guests and teammates Professional appearance and adherence to INDAY uniform and grooming standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with noise, movement, and temperature changes Able to stay calm, focused, and professional during busy or stressful periods Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Reliable and punctual, with accurate clock-in and clock-out practices Willing to attend required meetings and training sessions Adherence to all company policies and local health and sanitation regulations - An artificial intelligence tool that may be considered an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) is employed in the assessment of applicants for the positions being recruited for in order to gauge the following pertinent qualifications or traits: The candidate's ability to perform the tasks in the available job role.
