Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards at least 3 days per week, and working the customer service line out front 2 days per week. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, handling cashier duties, and assisting with customer inquiries Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, rotation, and waste reduction to ensure freshness and safety Uphold high standards of sanitation, including proper food handling techniques, cleaning schedules, and adherence to health codes Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues to meet service goals and upsell menu items Skills Proven experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Knowledge of kitchen operations, serving procedures, bussing, and general food industry standards Join us if you're eager to develop your culinary skills while delivering memorable guest experiences!
