Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes, dietary specifications, and quality standards Assist in menu planning to create balanced, appealing, and nutritious options for different dietary needs Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices at all times Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks Serve meals efficiently in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to health regulations Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and assisting with setup and serving as needed Experience Prior experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures Experience working in a kitchen environment with strong knife skills and attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience in catering or large-scale food service is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant setting where your skills make a real difference!
