Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients to meet recipe standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Support cooking processes by following established procedures and assisting chefs during meal assembly. Handle food handling tasks responsibly, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients. Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to facilitate efficient service flow. Support banquet and special event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of orders. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety standards is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact positively with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced setting. Experience with food handling, cooking, serving, or hospitality roles is a plus. Previous hotel or banquet experience can be advantageous but is not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key.
