If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a collaborative, high-energy team, we'd love to connect! This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture. Game Arena is a unique space that blends a full-service kitchen and bar with PC gaming, consoles, and racing simulators. We host tournaments, private events, and weekly programming that keep our venue active and engaging. Located on North High Street near the Gateway Film Center. Position Details Part-time (up to 30 hours/week) Primary shift availability: 3 PM - 12 AM Typical shifts: 6-8 hours Occasional event-based scheduling, including morning or late-night hours Key Responsibilities Prepare menu items following recipes and portion standards Support the line by taking direction from the lead station Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation Follow all opening and closing procedures Assist with receiving and coordinating with delivery drivers Work efficiently in a high-volume, open kitchen environment Contribute to a positive and professional team atmosphere What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of kitchen or food prep experience preferred Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast-paced setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible, dependable, and willing to learn Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Perks & Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee food discounts Free play on PCs, consoles, and racing simulators Team-oriented work environment Staff perks like "Free Drink Fridays."
