Responsibilities Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to takeout area, ensuring food quality and presentation are maintained. Assist with food handling, preparation, and plating under the guidance of culinary staff to support smooth kitchen operations. Support the cleaning of kitchen. Manage food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and proper storage procedures. Operate POS systems such as for order processing when needed, supporting front-of-house operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food prep tasks, including portioning ingredients and organizing supplies for efficient service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly. Assist in banquet setups or special event support as required, ensuring all food service elements are executed flawlessly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving serving or bussing. Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is essential. Experience with POS systems demonstrating comfort with order processing technology. Prior kitchen or culinary experience, including cooking or food preparation skills, will be advantageous. Hotel or hospitality industry experience can enhance your ability to deliver guest-focused service. Strong communication skills are vital for coordinating with team members and providing excellent guest service. A background in banquet service or large-scale food events is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
