Job Description

Position SummaryA Team Member at Fast Times helps create the experience that keeps guests coming back.

This role is built around hospitality, teamwork, food quality, and continuous learning. Team Members are cross-trained throughout the restaurant and support both guest-facing and production responsibilities. Whether serving slices, stretching dough, running food, washing dishes, stocking stations, or helping a guest discover their new favorite pizza, every Team Member plays a critical role in the success of the restaurant.

We are looking for people who enjoy working with others, take pride in their work, and are excited to grow. Success at Fast Times comes from being adaptable, coachable, engaged, and willing to contribute wherever the restaurant needs support.

About Fast TimesFast Times was built around a simple idea:

Slow Down With Fast Times.

In a world that moves faster every year, we believe people still need places where they can slow down, share a meal, enjoy great music, and spend time together.

The inspiration behind Fast Times comes from the neighborhood gathering places of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The pizza shop after the game. The record store. The arcade. The late-night hangout after a concert. The places where people connected, built friendships, and made memories.

We are not simply serving pizza and soft serve.

We are creating an experience built around nostalgia, community, creativity, and hospitality.

Everything we do, from the music playing in the dining room to the pizzas we serve, should contribute to that experience.

What You ll DoTeam Members are cross-trained throughout the restaurant and expected to support all areas of the operation.

This includes assisting guests, taking orders, serving slices, running food, supporting pizza production, completing prep work, washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, stocking stations, and helping teammates throughout the shift.

Fast Times operates with two primary anchors: Guest Experience and Production.

Team Members are trained to understand both sides of the business and move where they can create the most value. When guests need support, we focus on hospitality. When production needs support, we focus on execution. When neither area needs immediate attention, we focus on preparation, organization, cleaning, training, and improvement.

Our CultureFast Times is built on hospitality, nostalgia, and continuous improvement.

We believe that great restaurants create memories, not just transactions. Every guest interaction is an opportunity to create an experience worth returning for.

We practice Kaizen, the philosophy of continuous improvement. Every shift is an opportunity to learn something, teach something, improve a process, or strengthen a skill. Growth is not reserved for leaders. It is expected from everyone.

We also practice Omotenashi, the philosophy of thoughtful hospitality. Great service comes from paying attention, anticipating needs, and making people feel welcome before they ever have to ask.

Most importantly, we believe restaurants are built by people. Great food matters. Great systems matter. But what guests remember most is how they felt while they were here.

What Success Looks LikeSuccessful Team Members actively look for opportunities to contribute rather than waiting to be told what to do.

They communicate well, support their teammates, maintain high standards, and take pride in the guest experience.

They understand that there is no such thing as someone else s job when the restaurant needs help.

They embrace feedback, pursue growth, and understand that every station, every task, and every interaction contributes to the overall success of the restaurant.

Core ExpectationsRestaurant experience is helpful but not required. We can teach recipes, systems, and procedures. What is harder to teach is a positive attitude, curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
