Kitchen Team Member
  • Corbett Taphouse Portland, OR | Part-Time / Full-Time | Hourly About Us Corbett Taphouse is a neighborhood taphouse in the heart of Portland, bringing together great craft beer and bold Mexican-inspired food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
We're a small, tight-knit team that takes pride in what we serve and how we treat our guests. The Role We're looking for a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our small but mighty kitchen. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for prepping ingredients, keeping our kitchen stocked and organized, and delivering fresh, delicious food directly to our customers.   • Place pre-cooked meats, tamales and other hot-serve items into thermalizers to heat for daily service Stock and organize
  • Monitor ingredient levels, rotate stock, and ensure the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for service at all times Deliver food to customers
  • Bring orders directly to guests at the taphouse promptly and with a friendly attitude. Customers are given order numbers to make finding them efficient and simple Maintain cleanliness
  • Keep prep stations, cooking surfaces, and equipment clean and sanitary throughout your shift in line with Oregon health and safety standards Support the team
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff and assist wherever needed during service What We're Looking For Experience in a kitchen or food service environment (preferred, but we're willing to train the right person) Comfort working with Mexican cuisine and flavors Ability to work efficiently in a small kitchen space under pressure Reliable, punctual, and a team player A positive attitude and genuine care for the guest experience Oregon Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain one before starting) Schedule & Compensation Part-time and full-time shifts available, including evenings and weekends $20-24 based on experience
