We are excited to begin our hiring process for Mt. Pleasant, with a Grand Opening date tentatively June 2026. This energetic role involves supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on your contribution from day one. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations up to and including managing trash, drains, and other areas in accordance with health regulations, Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times Work with Chef to ensure recipe adherence and proper par levels Maintain Dish Pit Assist with deliveries and rotation of product Duties may include Cut Fruit/Veg program, production of made in house Pizza Dough, as well as other functions in Back of House Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods Previous hotel or culinary experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest services through passionate culinary excellence!
