In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections. Take customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system. Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Buss tables promptly to ensure a tidy dining area for guests. Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies and ingredients in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Perform regular cleaning duties to keep the front of house area sanitized and organized. Requirements Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
