Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your energy and passion for food will help create memorable dining experiences. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with various kitchen operations. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to a lively, efficient kitchen environment that delights guests and maintains high-quality service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing) Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to meet service demands Operate POS systems TOAST pos for order processing and payment handling Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal aligns with quality expectations Contribute to team efforts during busy periods by supporting banquet setups, special events, or large catering orders Adhere to all food safety regulations and hotel or restaurant policies to maintain a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking processes Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous banquet experience or hotel culinary background is a plus Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude Knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary tools Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively Join us in creating exceptional guest experiences through energetic teamwork and culinary excellence!
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
