The Fat Shack in Clarksville is searching for hard working and dedicated kitchen professionals to join our team! We are happy to be providing a competitive starting wage where our entry level Team Members with experience can start out earning anywhere between $10.00 - $12.50 per hour PLUS tips. Employees will be paid through training, will be allowed discounted employee meals, and offered huge opportunities for career growth. Experience is preferred but not required, however, all applicants must have a positive attitude and the ability to work late nights and weekends. Duties Prepare menu items efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met every time Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a positive dining experience Upsell menu items to boost sales and enhance guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, food delivery, and general restaurant upkeep to ensure a smooth operation Manage cash register transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations Skills Experience in food preparation and food handling within quick-service or fast-food environments Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior cashiering experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is advantageous Embark on an exciting journey where your energy fuels our success!
