Duties Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality. Operate POS system, handle cash transactions, and manage sales. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house areas like the café or retail space and back-of-house kitchen zones. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours. Follow proper food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Support team members with food preparation, serving, cashiering, and other operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant flow. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy are essential. Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants will help you thrive in this energetic setting. Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food handling, and customer service best practices is highly desirable. Previous roles involving serving, cashiering, or retail experience can provide a solid foundation for success in this position.
