Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sushi and Kitchen Help to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties Assist in preparing sushi, including cutting fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients with precision and care Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and organizing supplies Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Help with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and quality of ingredients Contribute to meal preparation for dine-in and catering services, ensuring timely delivery of orders Support the overall flow of kitchen operations by assisting with dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and equipment maintenance Follow proper knife skills techniques for slicing fish and vegetables efficiently and safely Experience Previous experience working in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is advantageous but not required Experience in food service, restaurant environments, or the food industry is highly valued Familiarity with menu planning, especially in fine dining or Japanese cuisine settings, is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience involving food preparation, cooking, or catering enhances your suitability for this role Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred Prior kitchen experience that showcases your ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering high-quality sushi and exceptional kitchen support.
