Food Prep (Fruit Cutter)

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and food service industry, is seeking a Food Prep (Fruit Cutter) to join their team. As a Food Prep (Fruit Cutter), you will be part of the Food Preparation Department supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Thursday to Sunday, 7am

• 5pm (with 1-hour lunch break) What's the Job?

Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit according to company recipes and portion standards. Ensure all products meet freshness, quality, and appearance standards. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handwashing, glove use, and temperature control. Properly label, date, and rotate products to maintain quality and freshness. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including equipment and prep surfaces. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED preferred. Food Handler Certification required. Previous experience in food prep, produce, or grocery environment is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
