Join our team at Neighborhood Sushi, a vibrant restaurant serving high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in the heart of Austin. We're looking for friendly and dedicated individuals to join us,helping to welcome guests and provide excellent service. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunityto work in a beautiful and casual setting.
Position SummaryAs a Pastry Assistant, you will be responsible for executing and providing standard pastry items. In this role, you will help make cakes, breads, and other pastries according to pre-established recipes.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Preparing a variety of goods such as cakes, breads, etc. following company standardMonitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operationsMaintain a clean workstationDecorate pastries in a consistent styleFollow plating and display standardsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
High School Diploma or equivalent preferredBasic math skillsAttention to detailAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectivelyStrong verbal communication skills requiredWillingness to comply with all food safety procedures
