•Café Team Member We're a neighborhood café specializing in handcrafted espresso beverages, matcha, and hojicha creations. As we continue to grow, we're excited to expand into evening service featuring wine and small plates — and we're looking for great people to grow with us. We're seeking dependable, energetic team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative café environment. This role includes both front-of-house hospitality and back-of-house support, including food prep, light baking tasks, and simple griddle cooking. Kitchen confidence and a willingness to learn are highly valued. What You'll Do Welcome guests warmly and create a positive café experience Guide customers through our digital and contactless ordering system when needed Help maintain smooth and efficient service for dine-in and takeout orders Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep and light baking Cook and assemble menu items while maintaining presentation standards Follow recipes, portioning, and preparation procedures consistently Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates during service Process customer payments accurately using the POS system What We're Looking For Espresso experience preferred, but not required Comfortable handling cash and POS transactions Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized during busy shifts Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods Food Handler Certification required TABC Certification required Ability to prepare simple griddle items such as sandwiches, egg dishes, or rice bowls We are looking for long-term team members who are serious about learning and growing with the business. Training in both café and kitchen operations requires significant time and effort from our team, so commitment, consistency, and willingness to learn are very important for this role.
